February 12,2004. A new area has been added to The SIGNPOST web site. It is the HOLIDAYS section. There are three Holidays and they are: Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have arranged them in the above order because, that is the order they come in, in the calendar year. I hope and pray that this new area will be a blessing to you throughout the year.   • July 4, 2002 Here is a new poem by Tom Smith called: Headed Home. It is one that I very much like and take to heart. I feel that the message in this poem is very timely for us as individuals around the world, and especially for America as a nation at this time.   • September 26, 2001 The Twenty Dollar bill A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he used it to demonstrate that no matter how bad our circumstances in life are, or how worthless we or those around us may think we are; we never lose our value, no matter what. Especially to God! Who says to us:

    "The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love:" Jeremiah 31:3

    Second: The Trial The Trial tells of some one who's life has come to an end. And, after there death, The first thing they remember after awakening is sitting on a bench in the waiting room outside of God's court room in Heaven. waiting to be summoned. It goes on to describe their trial and the subsequent verdict handed down from the judgement seat of God. I really like this one! I think its quite good.     Third: The Son - The Son A story about a father, his son and the son's friend who appreciate and collect art. Especially fine paintings The son's friend paints a portrait of him and, after the son is killed in action, his friend presents it to his father . The story goes on to finish in a very touching way.     And fourth: The Donkey A story about a donkey that you could say finds himself in some very deep trouble. and, life shoveling more dirt and trouble in on top of him.     November 4, 2000 Two new things have been added to the Prayer room today. The first one is: MY PRAYER FOR YOU! (A PRAYER OF EDIFICATION). I did not have the privilege of writing this, but, it is my prayer for you never the less. Use the following link to go to it now:

    November 4, 2000 The second one is: MAKES YOU THINK! It is a story prayer, based on the LORD's prayer. It is written to make us think about what we are saying when we are praying to the Living God. And, to get us to give and commit our daily lives and will to Him.     November 4, 2000 Also, a new article has been added to the reading room. It is called: TAKING AIM! It is about an elaborate object lesson, given by a seminary teacher, to his students.     July 20, 2000 The old man and the sea. This is a story about a man and two teenagers caught in a bad storm off the Pacific coast. The man has to make an incredibly difficult decision when the boat capsizes, and all three are swept in to the ocean. You will find this story in the reading room.
